Q. Is your therapy practice HIPAA Compliant?
Yes, we use a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) compliant practice management software that allows us to provide our clients a secure Telehealth option, scheduling and billing and payments.
Q. What is the Cancellation Policy?
We know life happens and cancellation of therapy appointments will occur. However, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance in order for another individual to fill that time. When cancellation does not occur within the 24 hours, then a $65 will be charged.
Q. How do I know my information is protected?
Your health information and your health care is personal and we ensure your documentation is kept private. All records are kept in our secure electronic management software which is HIPAA protected. All records are not shared with others unless written permission is provided. Please request information regarding disclosures.
Q. Is Home-Based Therapy Available?
At this time in our practice, we ONLY offer home and or community-based therapy on a private/self-pay basis primarily for parent-child issues. Therapy appointments at home are still given the same requirements of an office visit including maintaining confidentiality and a quiet place to engage in therapeutic conversation with no interruptions.
